Last night we celebrated my mom's bday at the Macaroni Grill in San Mateo. It was a really nice time. My parents, my brother, my Uncle Tim and Aunt Lupe, Abuelita, my cousin Sonia, and of course, Robert, Kyle and I, all attended. I think my mom was really happy to have all her loved ones there :-) As usual, since I was the photographer, there are no pictures of me!

Good looks run in the family!
I took these pictures yesterday. I still am having a hard time getting his smile captured by the camera, but he is smiling more and more everyday. :-)

Party time!
We had a little get together at our place on Sunday. I was finally able to upload the pictures today. It was a really fun day and of course, we had Robert on the karaoke machine and he was totally hilarious. Kyle pretty much slept throughout the entire party but he was still a big hit with everyone because he's really, really cute! :-)
Kyle sleeping! :-)
Dan the Man!
Kyle earlier in the day.
My love :-)
Vanessa and Paige.
My daddio coming through our back door.
Debbie and Kit: They are getting married next year and asked me to be a bridesmaid! I can't wait!! :-)
I love this beer-not only because it tastes good, but also because I love the bottle!
Robert singing his sweet little heart out!
Amber and her baby, Piper. Erika in the background throwing up a peace sign!
My aunt, Lupe, having a tostada.
Erika and Dan's baby, Elena, looking oh so cute! (our current camera takes really blurry pictures sometimes... )
Abuelita fixing her tostada.
My uncle Tim and cousin Sonia.
Spencer and Dan-they were saving the earth a bit earlier while playing Halo :-)
And of course, some of the food!
My mom knows how to make a fruit platter look gorgeous!
Love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle, Mimi the cat, and also our new addition to the family, Susan B. Anthony Campos, our little kitten! She is constantly moving so I'm not able to get a clear picture of her, but here she is!
News flash!
Kyle slept through the entire night for the second time! The first time was the night before last, but I thought maybe it was just a fluke or something... but he did it again last night! What a good boy!

cute
Here are some pictures of Kyle that I took recently. He is just changing everyday and looking so adorable with the funniest personality!

He really is!
Kyle with his best friend, Georgie!
With Georgie. He's smiling with the pacifier in his mouth...see the dimples?
This is his "Mommy, I'm hungry" face!
Robert took this picture. This is one of his many different smiles :-)
I love this picture of him. I just love his little face and his hair!
Love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle, and Mimi!

Curt, my future cousin-in-law, (he's marrying my beautiful cousin, Sonia),
filmed our wedding ceremony and reception last year. His plan, was to give us the video on our first anniversary. They brought over the DVD and I patiently waited for Robert to come home from work so that we could watch it. When he did, we sat and watched it and it was awesome. Curt had interviewed us separately, and it was so cool to see what the other said about how we feel about each other, what our relationship is like. It was also pretty great to see moments that we had missed b/c we were in the other room while Curt was in the bar with the groomsmen, or we were waiting to get married while the bridesmaids were outside getting their picture taken or talking to the camera about when they met Robert. I loved seeing our families all together, all dressed up, happy, excited, and ready to party! It was so cute to see my dad greeting people as they walked into church. He had the hugest smile and looked so happy.
So we watched the dvd of our wedding, and sort of relived it at the same time. Kyle was sleeping next to us, and it is so crazy to see the Robert and Eugenia of last year, who had no idea that exactly one year later, they would already have a son!
I would recommend that everyone have a videographer at their wedding. It may seem that pictures are enough, but there is nothing like getting to actually be a spectator at one of the biggest moments of your life.
love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle and Mimi

I made it!!
My future-sister-in-law Melissa made Kyle the cutest burp cloth. She embroidered it using iron-on patters from Sublime Stitching. It was so adorable that I copied her and bought some of the iron-on patterns from the cutest yarn/craft store in Burlingame called Yarn, Paper Scissors . I bought the Dia de los Muertos patterns, the Flower Power patterns, and the Rock 'n Roll patterns. I used the Rock 'n Roll drum set pattern and embroidered it onto a plain white one-sie. It's not too bad for my first time and it looks really cute on Kyle!! (The "X" at the top are drum sticks... just in case you couldn't tell hehe)

Can't wait to make another one that is well done... but for now, I'm proud of my work! :-)
