The other day I put this really cute button up shirt on Kyle, and he looked like a little man!!  It was adorable!  He is already growing up so quickly.  He holds his head up by himself, and smiles, baby talks, baby yells (he got that from his mommy hehehe  I'm a really loud person sometimes) and now he actually is starting to giggle.  It's adorable.
I LOVE this picture :-)

We then gave him a bath and he looked so cute in his little hooded towel.

I finally finished a second embroidered one-sie.  It was supposed to be for Elena, but since she's six months old now and the one-sie I started was a 3 month one-sie, I decided to give it to Kyle.  I went and bought a pack of 6-9 month one-sie and have now started making one for Elena.  It's this same design by in girly colors. :-)

We took a bunch of pictures of Kyle in the past couple of days... so here they are!  He is really alert, communicative, smiley, fun, and sweet.  We are enjoying him so much.  i have to go back to work next Monday, and I'm so sad!  I love spending my days with him-we go for walks; we visit my grandma across the street; we take him out to restaurants and shopping with us; I even took him wedding dress shopping with Natalie!  I will definitely miss him while I'm at work, but that will just make coming home that much sweeter.

This is how tall he is compared to his daddy! :-)

Pizza night

Last night we went to Pizza Orgasmica in the inner Richmond district of San Francisco.  It's our favorite pizza place and when you go on Saturdays, they have Long Island Ice Tea specials for $3.50 each.  They also have really fun drinks with naughty names!  My mom gets embarrassed to order them by name, so she just points at the one she wants.  So funny!  We ordered three pizzas: the Orgasmica, Serpeant's Kiss, and Exotica.  They were delicious!

Mimi and Suzy Bee, best friends forever

When Suzy Bee was first introduced to Mimi, Mimi HATED her.  She would hiss and growl at Suzy and I was worried there was going to be a full on brawl between them!  But now, they LOVE each other.... they even cuddle together!

The other day I couldn't find them, and when I did, I just had to take this picture.  They both went into my overnight bag and were cuddling together in there.  So cute!  Mimi even cleans Suzy; it's as if Suzy is Mimi's baby :-)  So now we both have a baby!

Got it!

I was finally able to capture Kyle's smile! :-)

Today Robert took Kyle for his first run!  Before, we were a little wary of having him be in the stroller while Robert ran, but now that Kyle holds his head up pretty well and is almost 10 weeks old, we thought it would be fine.  And they had a blast!!

Kyle had his two month doctor's appointment on Monday.  When he was born, he was 20 1/2 inches tall and weighed 7 lbs., and 6 oz.  Now, he is 23 1/4 inches tall and weighs 12 lbs, 9 oz.  He is our growing boy :-)

Love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle, Mimi, Suzy Bee.

Great Weekend!

Robert and I had the best weekend!  Even though our anniversary was 2 weeks ago, we decided to use Robert's work perks and stay at the Ritz Carlton in SF.
The Ritz SF at night.
Champagne that we got for free from the Ritz to toast for our anniversary!
A really sweet card and chocolates made from scratch at the Ritz, also from the Ritz to us for our anniversary.
The view from our room... we were right near China town so you can start seeing Chinese architecture.  Also, the blue in the background is the sky but also is the Bay.
This tent took up the entire courtyard.  It was for a wedding!  I saw the bride, groom and all the wedding party and it was so cute!

Our bed, sprinkled with pink rose petals :-)

We only stayed for one night, but it was really a lot of fun!  We swam all day and after showering, wanted to eat out somewhere really good and really fun.  I had heard of a really good southern BBQ place in SF called Big Nate's.  I thought it would make Robert really happy to eat one of his favorite foods.  When we went to catch a cab, the valet attendant told us that Big Nate's is more of a take-out restaurant, not a sit down type of place.  So we ruled that out and I tried to think of somewhere cool to have dinner.  I told the attendant that we'd go to North Beach and just find a place when he suggested a restaurant called Ideale Ristorante.
It was REALLY good and had the best atmosphere.  The host was really sweet, so was the bartender.  We ordered Moretti's while we waited and then had a great dinner (Lasagna for Robert, gnocchi for me) followed by a really yummy dessert that we'd never had before.  I don't even know what it was called but it was SO good.  Before actually eating dinner, when we first arrived at the restaurant, we walked up to the front window when Robert said, "Oh my God, it's Chris from Project Runway!"

Chris March was sitting at a table by the window, facing out towards the street.  Robert was SO star struck!  While we waited for a table, Robert decided to approach him to tell him what big fans we are.  It turned out that Chris wasn't so excited to have Robert interrupt his dinner.  Oh well.  At least Robert can say that he talked to Chris and we can say that we ate at the same restaurant as him!

This morning, my Uncle Tim called us to invite us to the Giants game.  The tickets belong to Vanessa's boyfriend, Spencer.  Neither of them could attend the game so they gave the tickets to Robert, me, Tim, Aunt Lupe, and my cousin Sonia.  These seats are AWESOME.  Seriously.  They are RIGHT behind home plate... well, right behind home plate and to the right.  The seats are so close to the field that when you watch the game on TV, you can actually see the seats!  From these seats, you are able to make eye contact with the players, hear them talk to eachother.  If you don't like a call that the umpire made, you could yell and he would definitely hear you!  They were so great and we had a really, really fun time.

San Francisco is not really that big of a city, so during our drive from the Ritz to the stadium, I took some pictures.

The view down California.  It's one of the streets that has a cable car line and you can see the Bay Bridge in between all of the buildings.
A cable car on California St.
The Bank of America building-I believe it's the tallest building in SF... with all the new skyscrapers, it may not be anymore.  But as far as I know, it still is!

Even though the Giants lost, we had such a fun time!

I missed Kyle like CRAZY since he spent the night with my parents.  It was great to see him when we got home.  Plus, our kitties missed US like crazy.  Especially Suzy Bee... she is like, really needy!  hehe  As I write this, she is laying down across my chest, sleeping.  She followed us ALL over the house and would meow/cry if we went into a room and closed the door without her.  She is adorable, though!

Love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle, Mimi, & Suzy Bee!

Suzy Bee, Kyle and Daddy, new piece of art....

Our new kitten, whom I like to call Suzy Bee, is really adorable and sweet.  She loves to cuddle and purrs like there's no tomorrow.  She is really active and LOVES to play.

Yesterday morning, Robert and Kyle were sleeping next to each other, and I thought it to be the sweetest thing ever!  I love taking these sleeping pictures!

I went to a store on Main Street in downtown HMB called, Tu Pueblo.  They sell artesania mexicana-mostly Day of the Dead themed items, Loteria themed item, Frida Kahlo themed items, and lots of beautifully hand made and hand painted pottery.  I wanted to have my mom choose something that she loved for her birthday.  She chose a gorgeous, large, oval serving platter.  It was hand painted and really ornate with tons of bright colors.  I started looking around for something to have in our house and I found the cutest little sort of shadow-box type frame.

In the heart, it says "Siempre Juntos," together forever.  It's really cute and I can't wait to find the perfect spot for it. :-)

Tonight Robert and I are going to celebrate our one year anniversary by going to the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco.  We're planning on swimming all day, then going out for a great dinner somewhere... it looks like we're going to a southern bbq place in SF called Big Nate's.  Robert misses his bbq!  hopefully it lives up to his standards! hehe

Love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle, Mimi, and Suzy Bee!
