Curt, my future cousin-in-law, (he's marrying my beautiful cousin, Sonia),

filmed our wedding ceremony and reception last year.  His plan, was to give us the video on our first anniversary.  They brought over the DVD and I patiently waited for Robert to come home from work so that we could watch it.  When he did, we sat and watched it and it was awesome.  Curt had interviewed us separately, and it was so cool to see what the other said about how we feel about each other, what our relationship is like.  It was also pretty great to see moments that we had missed b/c we were in the other room while Curt was in the bar with the groomsmen, or we were waiting to get married while the bridesmaids were outside getting their picture taken or talking to the camera about when they met Robert.  I loved seeing our families all together, all dressed up, happy, excited, and ready to party!  It was so cute to see my dad greeting people as they walked into church.  He had the hugest smile and looked so happy.

So we watched the dvd of our wedding, and sort of relived it at the same time.  Kyle was sleeping next to us, and it is so crazy to see the Robert and Eugenia of last year, who had no idea that exactly one year later, they would already have a son!

I would recommend that everyone have a videographer at their wedding.  It may seem that pictures are enough, but there is nothing like getting to actually be a spectator at one of the biggest moments of your life.

love, Robert, Eugenia, Kyle and Mimi
